FOR A HAPPIER MARRIAGE

 Communication in marriage is more than just talking and saying what you want or think. Communication is also listening.


To listen, doesn’t only mean to hear with our ears, but to listen with our ears, hearts, and minds.

It means to put yourself in your spouse’s place, to really try and understand what they mean. To listen to their heart.


To be a good communicator we must first ask questions and be willing to change our viewpoint. We must be open to seeing things as others see them.


May God help us to be better communicators. May God help us to see things with a Heavenly perspective...


And show His love to our mate by TRULY listening.

MAKING SENSE

Most people place more importance on their cars, their careers, their family, fun, and friends than on God. They enjoy eating, playing, traveling, and sleeping. They have time for TV, or fishing, drinking, and all kinds of things. But they spend so little time reading the Bible. Most of them in fact never read it at all! No wonder their lives unravel. No wonder people feel lost. It’s not surprising the sadness, hopelessness, and despair that so many experience.
