IF I WERE GOD

"If I were God I wouldn’t let people suffer.”

You hear that all the time. That’s people’s attitude! They are always accusing God of being unfair, unkind, unloving.


If they were God they would do things differently. What they are saying is that they are more righteous than God. Imagine that!


Man’s natural mode is to get proud sometimes, to get arrogant. We think we know more than God. We think we know how to do things better.


Well, God doesn’t expect us to be perfect. But He does expect us to be yielded. And it is as we become yielded that we begin to see God’s love for our lives.


It’s only when we are yielded that we see the wisdom of His plan.

 Communication in marriage is more than just talking and saying what you want or think. Communication is also listening. To listen, doesn’t only mean to hear with our ears, but to listen with our ears, hearts, and minds. It means to put yourself in your spouse’s place, to really try and understand what they mean. To listen to their heart. To be a good communicator we must first ask questions and be willing to change our viewpoint. We must be open to seeing things as others see them.
